Ok, about Jaha....who is the best stylist? I'm getting married in May and this salon was recommended, but I don't have a stylist's name.

Sorry for responding late. I was at Jaha about three weeks ago and a young lady name Tia did my hair in coils. It was very nice. She did them small where you could hardly see any spaces. I got a lot of compliments. he atmosphere is nice and the stylists are nice. I plan to go back pretty soon.

    Hope this helps.

    Peace

Inky, thanks for starting this thread. I've been looking for a good place for a while.

I'm going to call both Jaha and Twist It Sista to try to get an appointment this weekend. I have a job interview on Tuesday and I want to look sharp. :thumbsup

LovelyLady, which salon did you go to, I would love to know how the service was so I to could find a place to get my hair maintained. Good luck on the interview.

I'm thinking of getting those twists. Since I'm newly natural I'm concerned about how natural hair reacts to extensions. I don't want my hair to mat. Nor do I want unnecessary tension on my hair.

Do you know whether they have a location in Maryland?

Shelli I know what you mean about the matting part. First let me say that this shops specializes (s) with natural hair. They use a different type of hair which is much more manageable and the stylist doesn't put the hair in tight. You may want to check my album out I have some in my hair so does my daughter.
