Hi there, I understand how you feel. I think it took me 1 whole year to find the products that work best on my hair. I've listed them below, hope this helps or gives you some ideas. It will take some time though because we all have differnt routines, textures etc. I have nappy/nappy but perhaps my suggestions may help. I do not use all of these products at once, I tend to switch depending on product price or avialability:
For Daily Styling:
Profective Breakfree Leave In Conditioner
African Pride Leave In Conditioner
Fantasia IC Gel with Sparklites
For the Scalp:
Organi Root Stimulator Carrot Creme
Profective MegaStrength
Coconut Oil
Pue Shea Butter Oil
Washing:
No Poo (Rinse with Vinegar and Water)
Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Shampoo
Conditioning:
Olive Oil and Egg Yolks mixed with Warm Honey, leave on for 1 hr
Motions Protien Conditioner, used every 2 months
Hope that gives you some ideas hun, bets of luck !

We have the same hair type.
I'm transitioning too, so FWIW:
Curly pudding: not using any pudding type products until I bc. I use IC Fantansia w/sparklites to smooth my hair back a bit with ponytails. It also defines my coils too (I usually dilute it or layer it over my spritz).
Moisturizer: I use something a local vendor made: shea butter, palm oil, rosemary extract, and I add mango butter and peppermint eo. Other times I might use a little coconut oil or just shea butter. Finally, I might use jamaican mango & lime cactus leave-in moisturizer.
Spritz: I created my own spritz using filtered water (mostly), aloe vera juice, bit of leftover conditioner, tiny bit of better braids spray, glycerin, lavender & tea tree EO. I spray this twice daily. It also adds moisture (my natural hair craves moisture right now).
