I purchased a bottle last week and used it for the first time today, I kept it in my hair for quite a few hours, I mixed it with some Olive Oil and some honey my hair was baby soft. Do you ladies add things to it or do you just use it straight on your hair?? How often do you use it?

I'm a big fan of the ORS Mayonaisse and I use it every other week. I just put a lot of it on my hair and put on a "curl" cap or shower cap, whatever you want to call it and leave it on for a couple of hours. I usually don't add anything to it, but once after dying my hair I added an egg like the back of the container suggested for "super" deep conditioning. I don't think I'll do that again because the consistency totally changed. But my hair is always soft after using the mayo.
Natural Since November 2003

I've used it in the past and it did nothing.
I will restrain myself from going out and buying and trying it again.:)

Sometimes I use it as a leave in. It is kinda think but it keeps my hair soft and very moisturized. I actuallly love it. It has become a staple for me.

I just started using it. I've always wanted to use it, and I like it alot. I don't know about using as a leave-in yet though.

Haven't tried ORS, but do use the Organics Hair Mayo and my hair loves it. I mixed it with a bit of olive oil, went under the dryer for 20 min and then feel asleep with it unintentionally. I woke up in the middle of the night to rinse and my hair was sooo soft. Much better for me than cholesterol.
Some say the Ors and Organics Hair mayo work differently. All I know is that the Organics is cheaper, but works great.
I use it about every 3 weeks when I detangle (but I don't use it to detangle).

I guess different strokes for different folks.
I have used ORS Hair Mayo and I haven't had a problem.
When my hair was permed, I used it and I didn't have a problem.
Since I have been natural, I have used it twice. I usually mix it with some olive oil and honey when I have used it.

I used it tonight and it left my hair (usually extra dry hair) really soft... I followed up with DPR-11 (sp) The Elasta QP
Re-moisturizer. Actually I still have the Elasta stuff on. It may not be necessary, but I thought the ORS was a protein so I felt I should follow up with a moisturizer just to be safe...
