Just like how one should think before they speak, they should think before they touch. I don't allow people to put their hands in my hair unless it's my family. No one really does that anyhow.

Like freelocks said I only let my family touch my hair...but for some odd :dunno: yet sane reason my twin sis who has been natural for 3 mos like touchin my :afro: or puffs or my hair period. I guess she trynna get a feel of how her hair is going to be...but other people that's a no no especially my co-workers....

When she found it was soft, she asked me what kind of hair spray did I use. Poor thing.

Anyways, I've learned something else. If someone touches me, I'm gonna have to find a way to deal. I don't like feeling helpless because I can't slap them without thinking the po-pos gonna get me. I need to find some way to accept it, maybe enjoy it..if that's possible.

the precious time seeing you.

I honestly think some white people see the afro as a joke or costume.

I absolutely agree with you, almost like a gimmic. It's quite sad.

Hey, how do you blow your afro out? I am new to this afro thing, and I'd like to do some different stuff with mine. Plus I have shrinkage, so blowing out might help me.
