So I've been seeing the ads floating around the top of the Nappturality forum advertising the onlnie natural hair styling course. I've taken a look, and it sounds like it could be interesting. Has anyone signed up for this yet? Is anyone going to do so?

I haven't sign up, but I did follow the link a couple of weeks ago and check it out. The curriculum looks really interesting and I think I'd like to do it, but I'm concerned about how the course works. I wanted to know: 1) Do you work at your own pace or is there a required time frame? 2) Are the readings online and is there a means to communicate with others enrolled in the course? If anyone knows any of these answers, please let me know. However, I did see that you could send a request for more information. I think I'll do that.

I'm very interested by this course. QueenMoe, I sent an e.mail to have more info about it. Here is the answer:
Yes you can take this course! This is a self-paced online class. The course begins when you do, so you can Enroll at any time. You may take this course from anywhere in the world providing you have access to a computer and the Internet.

Once you enroll, the class will always be open for up to 6 months -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You complete coursework according to your own schedule. The instructor may provide helpful guidelines for course completion, but generally you determine your own timeline from the convenience of your own personal computer whether at home late at night or at the office during lunch break! Your courses will be available on-demand and from anywhere on the Internet at times that will fit into your busy schedule.

For an example of a general classroom set-up as well as lesson guides on navigating our online service, why not join our "free" UniversalClass Demonstration course titled "How to Take an Online Class at UniversalClass":
