Here's the deal, I'm a writer and I need a website to promote my work. My ISP gives me free webspace (is that the term), but I need a domain. I went to godaddy.com, and the price seemed reasonable, and I liked their templates (neither the time nor inclination to learn web design, nor the money to buy software), but it doesn't work with my browser. Do any of these places have templates that work with Safari? (Am I asking a really stupid question?) I'm technologically challenged, but do want something decent that doesn't look amateurish. Any ideas?

I'm sure she gave you great advice. I just wanted to add that I seriously didn't like GoDaddy.

...good free web templates...www.elated.com and www.freewebtemplates.com. Free web templates just offers one page. Elated offers the whole package but is alittle harder to use. If you have problems, Simon and Matt will answer questions.
I use PowWeb for my website. I have no complaints.Livin.
