Avacado Oil

I was gonna pick some up, but I wanna know if anyone has every tried it. I also have some avacado in my fridge, any tips?

I tried it mixed with my conditioner leave-in and love it because it&#39;s so rich. It made my hair feel really moist. But I could only get the small bottle because the big one was expensive.

In the winter, I add avocado oil to my conditioners as a deep treatment. It&#39;s very effective.

I also use it as a deep conditioner mixed w/other oils like castor & coconut.
You could use the avocados to make a conditioner. It is very good, really moisturizes. I may have my recipe on my fotki.

Question: How do you get all of the avocado out of your hair? I would like to try this, but I have had bad experiences when mixing food and hair :blush: :lol: .

Try looking at Pebbles Page she has a recipe where she uses avacado and she even tells you how she strains it to get the chuncks out. I bought some avacado oil only used it once though. Made my hair really soft.

True word....I use it very lightly in my hair as I have quite thin hair....or as a prewash treatment.
On my skin though, it is bliss! Makes a luxurious addition to boday butters and skin oils.

I haven&#39;t used it yet but I plan to and it sure does sound good, I love using fresh avacado&#39;s in my hair though.
