    Does it make a difference?

I don't think I understand your question? You mean starting to twist your hair from the front or starting from the back? If so, no it shouldn't make a difference.

I don't think it makes a difference but I prefer to start from the back and work my way to the front.

I used to start from the front to back when I used to stand in the mirror and do them. Now, I don't watch myself twisting anymore, I start from the back. For me, they look more uniform when I start from the back. When I started in the front I would have to start over on some. Maybe it's just me ....

I don't think it matters too much, but personally I start from the back and work my way to the front. HTH

I usually do back to front. I tend not to pay attention to parting in the back, and only look in the mirror when I'm doing the front middle section. This method works for me, its all a matter of personal preference really.

I've never tried twisting from the back to the front. I think it's because when I start in the front, I may part it and try to shape it into a style as I go. It seems that if you start from the back, then when you get to the front, you'd be like, ummmm, and it would be hard to create a style for the front.

I start my twists from back to front. I find it easier that way. I have never tried it any other way.

I find back to front easier but I'm sure it doesn't matter which way you do it. Whatever works for you is best.

Back to front for me too. I find that it takes a few before I get my "rhythm" and by the time I get to the front, they're looking nicer and more uniform.
I start on the back right side, the same spot where I used to start my perm re-touches. Maybe it's a leftover habit from there too?
