Now why didn't I realize you weren't from the US :doh I guess that would be a huge difference. Especially with shipping.

I just looked to and I have no idea why the books are that much. It's really not that big. The average 300 and something pages.

I hope your able to get it through the library.

Does anyone have her new book, "Bring On The Blessings?"

Sometimes, I feel discriminated against, but it does not make me angry.
    It merely astonishes me.
How can any deny themselves the pleasure of my company?
    It's beyond me.

downloaded my Captured ebook on my D.R. and I absolutely loved it...i dont where ive been...maybe sleeping under a rock...but it took me a great while to get hip to jenkins...just recently i started downloading the books and once i read one...i decided that i had to read them all...so that is exactly what im doing...i absolutely love her historical romances...they have so much depth and they make me want to stop reading kimani romances all together because when compared they are seriously lacking...

I've read all of her books and will be getting the new one soon. "Bring On The Blessings" was pretty good, I am looking forward to a continuation.

I LOVE Beverly Jenkins, I own all of her books, and I re-read them all the time. My favorites are the historicals, she's like the only Black Historical Author, reading her books actually somehow got me hooked on all historical romances, they are now my guilty pleasures. I didn't even know she had a new book out, I'm going to have to go get it!

and I agree with ya~akua, the Kimani romance novels don't really do it for me anymore after reading so many other ones. But the Hollington Homecoming series is pretty good, I'm reading the third book now. The authors of the Series are Jacquelin Thomas, Adrienne Byrd, Pamela Yaye, and Sandra Kitt.

It's been a while since I read a real romance novel and maybe she has changed since then. I guess it may be worth picking up another one.
Really? That sounds more like Brenda Jackson than Beverly Jenkins to me
