*Don't mention, I could do this style with just a little more growth.

You can do all styles unless you have a super TWA, you just have to modify.

*Don't mention I wouldn't look right with short hair, it has to be 65 inches before I cut off the relaxed ends for it to look right.

    I would add....

If you dont have locks, please dont come to the lock board acting like you are an expert. We have a special flow over there and would like to keep it that way.

    7. You can't post a complaint about your natural hair and threaten to go back to the relaxer/texturizer/creamy crack if no one helps you by Thursday at 5:00pm.
(All hair problems should be posted in the form of a question - as if you actually want help and don't just want convincing or persuading to live the nappy life.)
That I like - especially the part in parenthesis. I don't like if you have to be 'encouraged' to have nappy hair from other people (seeking outside affirmation for you natural on you). But ask questions and learn how to do it yourself, for yourself....and you lead yourself by your own physical and mental encouragement.

ETA - also like the brillo pad one. Some hair has a natural tendency to be dry or look dry, and I would never say that 'brillo pad' to descibe dry hair. On another board a white woman said 'crispy' to describe what some black girls hair look like, and then was dumbfounded on why people were hounding her over her use of the term. :nohuh

Do not come on the board asking how to grow 18 inches of hair in 3 months because you have (insert event here) to go to. Be real. :nohuh

Do not mention the word 'brillo pad' to indicate the dryness of your hair. Just don't.
Yes! In fact, I know words can automatically be edited out of posts. Maybe "brillo pad" can be replaced with "very dry" or something. It is a shame on a nappy site some curse words can't fly by but nappy hair insults can.

okay, i think i know how this thread is supposed to go...

    How's this one:

If common sense tells you that the topic you are posting about has PROBABLY been done before. Do a search first!

(If I see another thread asking "how do I no-poo?" or "how do I trim my ends?" I even saw a thread asking "how do i get rid of the perm and go natural?")
