I think I'm going to start pampering myself a little. Let me know how it turns out. My babies are almost 6mths old and I want to start getting them done every 5-6 weeks.

I am transitioning n the DFW and I'm feel like an orphan. I'm not lookimg for anyone to braid or weave my hair. I need to find somone to BC me to fit my face and then hold my hand and help my natural hair be beautful and phenomenal. If you have any NEW suggestions please let me know..... I'm dying.....

Hopefully they will get back to me soon.

I'm looking to get my babies tightened and pampered the week end of the 15th.

I've heard Elaine is a bit pricey and Mama is on a tight BUDGET!!!

No one has come back to say how it went. I've never had anyone do my hair here other than my first weave 3yrs ago, which I hated. I just do my own hair now. Maybe your reviews will change my mind...

LeToyia started my locs nearly two years ago and I still go to her til this day. I have recommended her to many folks and they all seem to love her.

LuvJones will love her. Right now she's pregnant (just in case her hormones are acting up), but she's really nice and reasonably priced.

You have really put me at ease. I've never has someone in my locs and I was a little nervous because they are unruly and fuzzy :wub: with creeping roots. I started them myself so I'm a little sensitive and protective about my babies :unsure: :lol: She sound really nice and southern on the phone. I liked that.

Went to Latoyia and she did a great job. She first looked at my hair and GENTLY separated my creeping root. I got a good shampoo and a condition. She tightened up my babies in no time flat. I feel I really got my $$$ worth. I'm going back the end of October. I'm too cute ya'll. :lol: I'll be posting pics soon!

I am soo glad this post was started because I am desperately needing some professional help with my hair. Megan and Heaven you stated that you went to Queen Isha or Asha. What services have you guys has done there? What are the prices? Is it for braids and weaves only? I am contemplating a sew in weave because the individuals break my hair. I am also looking for a place to have my loose hair taken care of. Are they professional? I live in Cedar Hill so that is close to me. Did they braid tight? Do you have any pics of the styles you got there?
