This thought just occured to me while I was sitting here playing in my hair :P. I 2 days ago did a rollerset (on which I got lots of compliments ) and combed it out. I put it in ponytails and twisted the curly ends last night. Today when i took it down it felt so silky and healthy and for the most part looks like i have a r.elaxer or so i've been told. But its so much healthier than it ever has been. It just amazes me that with a little manipulation, you can go afro to straight look to twist and braids almost effortlessly. As you can tell, I'm really loving my hair right now. Going natural is probably one the best decisions I've made concerning my hair thus far. Now watch in week I'm gonna want to end up shaving it off after I have a series of bad hair days, it is really behaving to well right now

Yeah...I'm always amazed. I use to think I need to blast my roots with hot air to achieve a desired (more lengthy) fro, but after experimentation and the desire to stop using heat, I've found alternatives that work just as well. My hair is thin and shrinks a ton...but I loooove big hair!! In order to achieve this look (big and defined), i co-wash, apply products, and dry in a low pony. The results are very similar to the heat stretched style, and it fact its less frizzy this way. I love experimenting. It seems like I learn something new about my hair everday!

Yeah, I'm continuously amazed that it still won't do what I want it to do.

I've been wearing a TWA since September '06. I cut my hair down to about 1/2 inch. Right now it's about 2 inches and I can wear finger coils, which I absolutely LOVE.. I am amazed at how healthy and good my finger coils look. I am also amazed that after an inch and a half of growth, I had to change products. My hair didn't like shea butter when I first chopped it, shea butter would sit on my hair and make it look ashy. Now, shea butter works wonders on my finger coils! My hair is soooo soft and beautiful!
What a journey... :wub:What comes from the heart goes to the heart.

Or course
I am constantly amazed by the different looks I can acheive. The texture, length, everthing... What's wrong with the world <_<
Nappy hair is so versatile and no other people in the world have hair like ours.
We are truly wonderfully made! ^_^...I do it so good I don't need nobody else...

Honestly...I was playing with my twists one night. And I was really thinking...wow...my hair feels like satin. Yes, my nappy hair felt like satin. So I took a twist down and started playing with it and I can't seem to help myself...it's soooo soft.

I just chopped, so of course I'm just in love right now. I quickly developed the HIF disease. lol Its amazing how different my hair feels after being freed from the chemical fire cream. Its so soft and curly and I can literally run my fingers through it. And all these years I thought that it was my new growth that was tangly and unruly. HA!
Starting the journey....again.

Yep. I love it when my hair is stretched out one day, and shrunken the next. It keeps non-nappies confused.
