Oh my goodness...You ladies made me want to bring out my sewing machine!

Lady Thomas...That sweater bag is sooo cute. I have a couple of sweaters laying around, and I just can't deciede on what to do w/ them. Looks like I'll be making a bag out of at least one of them...and the denim stuff...you guys are just too cute.

Okay, question:

When cutting up t-shirts do you have to worry about the edges unraveling? Is there any sewing involved?

You guys have got me inspired!

I've been hanging on to an old tee shirt from a guy I use to talk to. I didn't want to throw it out and I didn't have use for an oversized shirt for my small frame so I figured hey, why not use it to experiment on. What I ended up with is kind of a "poncho-tee"

I cut half of the back out, leaving two staps about 3 inches wide and then cut those into strips. I then cut the neck, arms and front into even strips.
