I just had to post this topic to show off an easy style that can be achieved for girls with natural hair. I've encouraged my goddaughter's mom to maintain my goddaughter's natural hair. (the others have per.med hair).
Below is my goddaughter rocking a braidout that can be achieved with as little as four big cornrows. Simply wash, condition, and either blow dry or let hair air dry. Then, part hair in four sections and braid. Take braids out in the morning for a fierce braidout and re-do braids each night for easy maintenance.

WOW, her and her hair is beautiful! Thanks for the quickie tutorial. I can't wait until my daughter's hair grow back out so I can do cute styles on hers. Here's a link to the yarn twists I did on my her hair Christmas Day....

Wink

My job blocks access to fotki for some reason...I can't see the beautiful churren. I'm happy to see that the mamas on NP are sending our kids in the right direction. Here's a pic of my baby Akanke's braid out...I'll update more pics on this thread shortly.

@OP...great topic. I have been able to view some hairstyles of the babies of NP and was amazed. It's encouraged me to want to start an album for my princess.

Look at all of that pretty hair! See, we have to spread the word...all you have to do is braid it up or twist it up. No daily combing and styling necessary and definitely no chemical fire creams.
