I only use a clarifying shampoo. I recently used herbal essence's clarifying shampoo. Now I am using suave. A clarifying shampoo removes build up unlike a regualr shampoo. I use it once a week and it works well for me because I use cones and grease.

^^^ No it did not dry my hair out. It is called defunktify. I am currently using the suave clarifying shampoo but the defunktify works better IMO.

Regular shampoos add oils with the sulfates for "moisture" while clarifying shampoo are str8 cleaning agents. I use the Suave clarifying whenever I use somethin unnatural and it doesn't dry my hair out per se...but I do notice a HUGE difference in softness after deep conditioning. My shampoo bars keep my hair softer.

Do you mean that your hair is softer when you clarify then deep condition.

no..not really its softer with the shampoo bar. It feels cleaner with the clarify but when my hair dries it feels crunchier.

I have the same results as MissMack. What's when I'm sure to do a deep conditioner after using Suave's clarifying shampoo.

    Yup .

Sunday I washed my hair with Pantene Clarifier and followed with Dark and Lovely Moisture 3 in 1 And Africas best Hair myonnese ,My hair came out soft and shiny !I think the secret is in following the clarifier with a good moisturizing poo ..
