I made a green smoothie for the first time using rice milk, kale and a banana. I liked it!

How long can you keep the smoothies?
I know when I juiced they say to consume the juice right away.
I ask because my vitamix (YAH) is on it's way and I want to juice in the AM and take it work to drink throughout the day.http://30yearstodate.blogspot.com/

^BushBaby I think someone mentioned a day or two in the fridge.
I wonder what is a serving/oz size for a good meal replacement? I am loving the green smoothies. I can tell I am a bit more energized when I have one.

This is timely. I bought kale & spinach on a whim last week at the store and I was thinking that I needed to use it before it goes bad.

I've had my Vitamix bout a year and save the day I brought it home, it's collecting dust....so I decided to throw in some spinach, avocado, apple and mango and though it was kinda bland it was smooth and drinkable....what can I do to flavor it up w/o adding any kind of sugar?? I say that cause sugar is my drug and I'm tryna kick the habit...

Bananas. The sweetness in other fruit can sometimes be counteracted by the water and/or acidity in the fruit. Bananas don't have that problem.
