I really only watch football when the Bengals are playing. However I do want to see the half-time show at the Superbowl.
You know things have changed when the FCC thinks that Prince is a safer performer than Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake!
My DH got a new TV so he is excited to watch the game with some friends even though he has not really followed it all season.
Some of us ladies plan on putting a chick flick in the DVD upstairs and watching a movie or playing some cards or a board game and then turning the TV on when the half time show starts.
Will you be watching?Nappy since November 11, 2003

I was wondering too how many ladies were actually going to watch the game. As for me, no I have no intentions on watching the game  I am just waiting to celebrate when the Bears win....
We can't always choose the thoughts that come to our minds, but we can decide to let them stay and fester or we can push them aside. We have a choice about that.

I'll be in the same room (everyone else is from Chicago), but I never really watch the game. I've been informed that I am "not allowed to be neutral." LOL. I will check out the half-time show, though. I usually pay more attention to the commercials.

Yeah I'm supposed to have a Superbowl party. Well my husband and his drunken friends will mostly be watching the game, while me and ladies do other things.

OH YES INDEED! I will be GLUED. I know someone who is in TWO superbowl ads! and i wanna see prince. so i need a superbowl port a potty..lol
This is something funny for the fans
A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an Indianapolis Colts fan.
She asks her students to raise their hands if they are Colts fans too.
Not really knowing what a Colts fan was, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, their hands fly into the air.
There is, however, one exception. Susie has not gone along with the crowd.
The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
"Because I'm not a Colts fan" she reports.
Then, asks the teacher, "What are you?"
"I'm a Chicago Bears fan" boasts the little girl.
The teacher asks Susie why she is a Bears fan. "Well, my Dad and Mom are Bears fans, so I'm a Bears fan too" she responds.
"That's no reason," the teacher says. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?"
Susie smiles and says, "Then I'd be an Indianapolis Colts fan."

I'm going to be at a Superbowl party at my friend's house a block from the stadium. She'll have the windows open so we can hear the roar of the crowd and Prince's guitar at halftime. :taz: l
