Yesterday, I went to Nordstrom's with the intent on stopping at the MAC counter to find some eye shadow. I normally don't wear makeup, but I would like to start wearing a little here and there. When I was pregnant and feeling not so pretty, the make-up artist at Nars did a makeover for me and I really was pleased. So I talked to the rep at the counter about their shadows and I ended up getting a makeover. It looked great and I really dig the colors and the quality. I ended up buying two eyeshadows and a blush. She tried to sell me the foundation, powder, and liner, but I wasn't prepared to spend that much money. It's so expensive! Seriously, I'm thinking about taking back that blush and getting one from MAC because they have a certain color I like. But I'll definitely buy Nars again.

What e/s colors did you buy? 've heard so much good stuff about their e/s, but just from looking at the shades they have, I don't see anything that would be flattering to me.

nars has good stuff. it is very expensive, yet very pigmented, so consider it an investment! ; )

I recently got Nars eye shadow in Night Porter (a dark, almost black color with intense green reflects) and a cheek color in Exhibit A (an orangey red). Both are great. Nars is not cheap, but its worth the price tag.

Sephora has a nice artist palette for sixty dollars that includes two multiples, four eye shadows and four lip sticks for people who want to try nars. I first started using Nars when sephora started selling their kits. instead of buying all the stuff individually its cheaper to try it out in a kit where you get the essential items in a color coordinated fashion. i havent looked back since i got my first one. sephora sells their smashbox items in the same way.
but i love nars. they are my favorite.

Think of moving up from MAC (or just adding to it) so I've been eyeing NARS with a passion. I looked on YT and folks are loving it.
Anyone else in love with this make up?
What are you using from this line?

Nars blush is da bomb. Don't sleep on it. I use Exibit A. It's really bright in the cintainer but looks very good on dark skin. I've never even tried to wear blush until I started wearing that a few months ago.

I love Nars blushes and I use the sheer matte foundation, it is AWESOME!!!! I have oily skin so the foundation is wonderful for me and matches perfectly (I am brown skinned but with yellow undertones). I haven't been able to find anything comparable so I will have to continue to shell out the $40 some odd dollars for it lol!
