Even though John Hopkins denies issuing this report, I too am still forwarding this information to family and friends.

Thanks Dee--recently it seems more and more people's lives (including mine) are being touched by cancer and I keep wondering why and ways to avoid this modern day tragedy. Great info--it's very much appreciated.

Wow, this is great information. More indepth than the average magazine article about cancer prevention. If this had been around 15 years ago maybe my daddy would still be here, but its good to know and I plan to pass it onto family and friends. Thanks Dee!

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea
is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to
drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals
in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

Green tea still does have caffeine though. Even the decaf, it just has significantly lower amounts of it and the high antioxidants kinda cancel it out, or balance might be a better word.

I asked my mom about this right now and she agrees with stuff like that, but I'm still a little unsure about the freezing of the water bottles. It's too hot to not do that. Will a thermos be better for cold water?

^^ One of my chem professors said that in unfavorable temperatures, the plastic brakes down into whatever you are going to drink including freezing temps (which causes the liquid to expand the bottle, breaking the plastic bonds). I guess that attributes to the flimsy like texture the bottle is in when it starts to defrost.

This is not from Johns Hopkins, it's an urban legend.
