I did this with huge gray rollers because I have a lotta hair and did not want to wait an eternity for it to dry. I used the ponytail set method wich left me with lots of unstretched roots but I liked it anyway.

    The pictures are weird.

There are more in this album.

Thanks the hair ablum pics they helped. We seem to have similiar hair texture's. Do u think if I used slightly smaller rollers It would be more volume? I was doing a braid out for a while on blowed out hair but stopped because I was scared the heat would start to damage my hair. So I have been looking for a different way to achieve the same length and volume I get from a blow out and then do a braid out on my hair.

I did not know you could roll and set natural hair ! WOOOWWW this is one of the main reasons I permed my hair. I learned something new thanks guys ! wish I had more than 2 months of new growth though. If my hair was way longer I would have done a BC and try that out. But I guess not. Beautiful pics guys !

I recently tried this to see if it made a difference in my bantu knot out:
Here's the knot out done on wet/damp hair

And this is after stretching w/rollers, allowing to dry, and then doing the knots with aloe gel on dry hair

more info and pics in this section on my fotki: (pages 2 and 3)

MrsSmif I love that style! I think it is the uniformity of the volume and curl that I love the most.

I've been trying to read up on stretching hair because I want to do an experiment to see if I can retain length better if I can keep my ends "straight" and not rolling onto themselves. We will see.

^^Thanks Debonaire! In my album you'll see that the curls fell a bit more by the end of the day, tho, it just left me with sort of a wave...
