Do you have a hair goal? Mine is to have healthy locs. I want length too so that I can do more things with it. My goal is to be loc'd for life.

My goal is to continue to have pliable, soft feeling locs....and keep some of my ends unsealed- ya, sounds crazy but I like the look of the squiggly ends on the locs- gives me the feeling of my loose natural hair that
I enjoyed.
I am also trying to set a freeform challenge for myself (with the exception of styling with braid or twist out sets).

My goal is to have healthy locs. I think I'd like them to get to be about bra-strap length...
Right now, what I'm concentrating on the most is the journey. In every aspect of my life, God is granting me opportunities to grow up and learn. And I see myself learning a lot from the loc-ing process. Really learning...Patience, the joy of taking care of myself...That sort of thing. 'Cause I know what I want, and it's going to take a lot of love to maintain it."Coal mining is harder [than writing]. Do you think miners stand around all day talking about how hard it is to mine for coal? They do not. They simply dig."

My goal is to have shoulder-length locs in 3 years! I know that there a few ladies on this board that have waist and hip length locs - that is amazing! I would like to see if my sisterlocs would ever grow that long! But, in the mean time, I'd like to grow shoulder length locs. I just want them to remain healthy and full!

...and since many others have stated a length goal, I would like the short pieces in front to get shoulder length , but I am admittedly a trim-aholic. My hair grows really fast so I have had bs length in the back then trimmed it to avoid the dreaded loc mullet and discard any ends that may have trapped lint. Overall, I will be happy to keep my mane full and soft at any length.

My goal is to have healthy locs! I want my locs to reflect my lifestyle and beliefs in the world. I want my locs to continue to grow free, strong, full, and beautiful to the touch. I want to reach my three year goal and continue to have locs for life! I want to continue learning lessons of patience, wisdom, and overstanding of the locing process. I feel that my locs have taught me a great deal in the first two years. I am sure that the next two years will have more life lessons.
