Smile Post Pictures Of Your Gardens

Ever grow a HUGE pumpkin or do you have a beautiful little succulent plant you'd like to show off? Post pictures of your house & garden or your favorite plants. Vegetable gardens, raised beds, flower garden, rockery... we all need a bit of inspiration and help sometimes.

I'll start with my rockery... taken a while ago (before the drought). I'd like to bring it back up to this level again so I keep it for encouragement.

    oohhh now you are talking.

I am going to have to get some pictures, I will take some tomorrow. I have some questions about what to put in certain areas of my yard and Dee what you have done is similar to what I want in this area. I have a pond also with some koi and goldfish, still trying to make all of this work.

This is great. I am hoping to get my backyard to look like an outside patio extension of the house. I have a loooong ways to go though, but I am patient.

    Wink

I'm not a gardener, but my parents are. They have a few flower beds and one large vegetable garden that my father grows every year. I help him out with it when I visit, if I'm not being too lazy  . He gives most of the veggies away to the elderly in the community and family and the rest we can with.

I don't have many pics of their gardens, although I did take some pics of his tomatoes for him this year. My dad wanted them for his wallpaper on his computer. :P

The only plants I have are house plants, an orchid, a ***** willow and some type of vine that I named Bernard, lol.

LOL @ the edit. I'm not adding periods to get around it either. I'll leave it. :P

This is my koi and goldfish pong in the back of the house. This has been a serious labor of love considering immediately to the right of it on the other side of the fence are huge eucalyptus trees causing major havoc!

Need some ideas of what to plant there. I purchased some Hawaiian plants I think may look good there but I may have to move the section out a little more since it is so close to the wall.

Here are some of the plants I purchased. Some have taken root already. Some did not fair so well.

Need to spruce this area up a little more, I am looking at different types of cactus since the heat can get really interesting back there.

Here is the waterfall to the pond.
