NHG, you don't return until Monday? When was your last day before the break?

These three days back were kind of tiring...I have to get back into my routine. I will say that it was well planned though!

Well one full week next week and then exams week. During exams we have 1/2 days and the week after we have a holiday and a teacher workday.

So If I get through this week, I have some relief on the way.

I begin my online graduate program on the 11th. I kind of need to get organized. In addition to that I'm beginning to apply to districts in Ohio. Whew! Its gonna be a busy rest of the year.

hey everybody,

i had 2 weeks off as well and we returned this past tuesday. i took wednesday off

and dont even care.

i finally made a decision. i'm applying to Teacher's College at Columbia University (my alma mater) for an educational leadership and policy program. it's a program where you look at the socio-political issues w/in education and actually do work within that arena which is my DREAM!

so b/c of that and unnecessary drama at work, i'm outta here after this year. that means me and my wife are moving back to jersey, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! i miss the east coast. :wub:

I am substitute teaching until May.

I am applying for a full-time position in two different counties for the next school year! I really want my own classroom!! :wub:

We had a full 2 weeks off and returned on Monday. Needless to say, I needed to put in A LOT of effort in controlling my tongue (2 weeks of relatives, S.O, and parties had me sayin allll kinds of thangs :lol: ).

This week was pretty cool though... I'm extraordinarily proud of my students and their progress.

[size=3]AND MOST OF ALL, AN INACTIVE PARENT REQUESTED TODAY THAT I TUTOR HER SON WHO IS STRUGGLING!!!!!!!! yall... this is big.. lol....

[size=2]Plus, I'm beginning my search/preparation to leave my current school for someplace better for me and children... :wub:

Congrats. on following your dream. The only thing better than having a dream, is following your dream and with God's help, making it into a reality. So, kudos to you for "doing your thing."

You can say that again, "unnecessary drama at work" - Wow, if my trust wasn't in God - I don't even want to think about how I would respond to the "unnecessary drama at work."

Yay to you again, for moving back to the East Coast - go for it!!!

As for me, I'm looking forward to the summer. I am constantly in prayer for the administration, my co-workers, and myself. Lord help us. I'm just looking forward to the summer and praying the next year will be better for us all.

I :wub: you guys too! Thank you for all the support! I feel that the creator has told me to teach for a very long time and I just didn't listen to his words! I feel that I am doing the right thing by making my teaching a reality!
