My locks are dry. No matter what i do, they cant get soft like i want them to be. Ive tried herbal rinses, ACV rinses, hot oil treatments and what not but im thinking about just spraying something on my hair to keep it moist during the day. Does anyone have any suggestion on sprays or can u tell me what u do to keep your locs soft. Is that an oxymoron?

How old are your locs, and what's your current routine?

I had the same problem a while ago. Now every morning I spritz my hair with a mixture of olive oil and water. This has really helped my locs out alot.

I spray my hair several times daily. I have been doing this since I had them locked, almost three months ago. I use purified water (7 ounces), jojoba, coconut, or flax seed oil, and essential oils. I add various essential oils. I fill the rest of the bottle with water and shake well before I spray my hair. I spray my hair before I go to bed, working into the scalp which I massage.

Try tea tree oil, that worked wonders when I had a super dry scalp in my early stages of locing.

Hmmm. . . is it possible that the shea butter has built up on your locs, keeping moisture from getting to the hair strands?
