    Thumbs up

Ladies!! how are you doing ?

I have my hair in cornrows. Its been two weeks so far. I have never washed my hair while it was in cornrows because i feared that it would frizz up, and force me to take them out before i initially planned too.
But my hair is itching and it needs to be washed!!

So I guess my Questions are:

-What is a good way to wash my cornrows w/o them getting frizzy?

-Do I still put in my leave in treatment, and conditioner?

-Do I still let my hair air dry?

Thanks Ladies in advance for you answers. You guys are always an inspiration!

you can use a stocking cap and diluted shampoo poured over your head. for days when you don't have time, or you just need a refresh, take a cotton ball w/ some seabreeze and put it on your scalp in between the braids, but be careful not to rub too hard. your braids are cute lol i don't like cornrows on me cuz the back of my head is flat

Ok, I dont wear extentions, but I can answer that for you cause my head always seems like it wants to start itching if I wear a protective style such as twists, or braids...I am usually afraid to wash because I want to wear them for more than a week.. :P

Another napptural recommended to me that you could just simply cleanse your scalp with witch hazel or another astringent and a cotton ball or swab, if you dont want to mess your style up. Kinda people who are beginning locs. You would just dab the witch hazel on the cotton ball and rub each part in your scalp. This should help keep the itchies at bay. You could also simply just rinse your hair in the shower, not touching or manipulting your hair in any way, this what I do when I wear twists for a long time.

Also, when you first got your braids, was your hair clean? If not, you may need to wash...unfortunately, the style wont last long, but at least your head wone itch...

    HOPE I WAS OF HELP!
