    @ Lakita:
how much honey do you use for your receipes? I use 1 tsp honey for up to 1/2 liter water (spritz concoction) and 1 tsp honey for 100g shea butter

I basically use honey in my conditioner. I usually add about 2-3 tablespoons of honey to my conditioner (LeKair Cholesterol), let sit in my hair for 30 minutes and then rinse out. It leaves my hair unbelievably moist, shiney, and soft. Definately a keeper!
    I do the same thing

I also mixed honey with olive oil for a pre treatment

Its also good for facial treatments with coarse oatmeal

Maybe you should have just used honey and water instead of adding acv.

Anyway, I use the honey on my face and body.
Also I use it as a final rinse.
Once I left honey/avocado/ooil on overnight and my hair felt so wierd, never again. I've heard that if you allow honey to dry on your hair it will damage it.

@ blackeyes, I left a honey+palm oil overnight on my hair once, but it was on wet hair, though it was quite a funny sensation, it ended up really good

For those of you that use honey on your face... Do you use the honey straight from the bottle? Or do you mix the honey with something?

I mix it usually 1/4 tsp per 8 ounce. You do not need a lot to impart its properties in formulations.

    Hey-

I just wanted to throw out a suggestion; it sounds like you used a bit too much. I use honey in my ACV all the time. I either dissolve it in hot water first or - my preferred method - I make a tea of rosemary, sage and a few other herbs and add honey as I would any other tea and then use that to dilute my AC. Works Great!

Other than that, I think I do most everything everyone else mentioned. I love honey! :heart

I also did the honey mask and felt that my pores looked tighter and my skin felt nice.
Is this pure honey or do you add something else?
How long do you leave it on and do you do this before or after you wash your face? Hopefully you don't mind my silly questions.
