No longer freeforming
Wonder what MJ would have looked like with dreads (around the time "Don't stop till you get enough!")[i]To fear love it to fear life, and those who fear life are three parts dead.

I FINALLY washed my hair and felt oh so good about the realization that when I was done, I was DONE. I spritzed it with a water/glycerin/castor oil/fragrance oil mix and was DONE. No detangling. NO DETANGLING!!!!!!!!!!!! DONE.

Washed my hair today - squeezed it out, blotted it with a towel, about an hour later rubbed some oils on it and went shopping!! My hair sucks up water and I barely have any drippage, add a hot summer day and it's freeeedom!! ^_^

i have a serious problem here...when one of my locs gets weak i tend to rip off the end because i can't stand the feeling of a thin, barely hanging off end...and i'm talking about a few inches here...i really wish that i could stop but i can't

Okay, how 'bout I just feeling through my roots and found that the roots have meshed. What?! I was warned to watch out for that early on, but I didn't think it'd happen THIS soon. Just finished separating them. I wonder how the roots do that when they're set into individual twists? Shouldn't they grow separately instead into each other?
Yeah, my hair's meant to loc. I'll be checking the roots after each wash from now on.My Travel Blog | October 2007 Napptural of the Month (still looking for the link)

I'm trying to figure out why the lower level of my hair (the kitchen) which loc'd first is now growing the slowest
Where can you find me?

Took down dry locs only to realize they were dry because I colored my hair twice before locking it and once while they were locking :doh
No longer all locked. Wondering about getting a fotki...[i]To fear love it to fear life, and those who fear life are three parts dead.

That's one of my favorite shows too  I never noticed that though.
I keep wondering what my locs will look like in another three months, sigh. ^_^
