Waist Length Hair Challenge!

Hi, I need some of you guys to join me. All I need is 6 inches more lol by next year I should be there currently I trim every 3 months, deep condition twice a month, protein treatment when needed, i keep cornrows in for 2 weeks, grease the scalp and use a daily moisturizer and tuck the ends in a bun. I take supplements, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water. ^_^

My hair is barely APL yet it may or may not need a trim atm. I just want to say how I adore your hair and good luck on your challenge. Maybe in a few years I can make a thread like this.

Ok what is "APL" and "BSL"? aslo how long should my hair be to join ths challenge?

I am currently at BSL in the front and back of my hair.... the sides are APL....so I may be able to join you. I don't know if I will make it to Waist length by next year...I think I can probably get to Mid-back but I'll join you anyway...it's hard for me to say no to a challenge :lol: I usually style my hair in cornrow styles or twists and I wear my hair out occasionally. I am a very low maintenance person and am not a product junky. I deep condition whenever I take my hair style out and when I am up on it I co-wash weekly.

LOL! You are a crack up! You can be mine if I can be yours! Are you joining this challenge? With all that volume I know you have to be somewhere close to BSL...I just love the thickness of your hair! :wub:

APL= Armpit length and BSL= Bra Strap Length. You hair can be as long as you want it to be to join the challenge. My hair is 24" and I know that to get to my waist it's 29" so I have 5" to go. I know that my hair grows 5-6 inches a year so I could be waist length in about a year.

These are pretty much my measurements, too. wl is also about 29" on me and I'm around 24". In NP terms, my hair is something over 13" from my nape and I'd need about 18" to reach waist.

I can be in the challenge, but I don't think I'd be doing anything extra. :unsure: Like LL, just maintenance.
