WHOA + NO MA'AM! For my hair water also promotes meshing and tangling. This is really why I don't co-wash and rinse my twists that often. If I want my detangling session to be as stress free as possible I don't wet my twists, and I retwist my hair immediately after washing before the tangles get a chance to dry and "set".
