The pursuit of nappyness!

Hey, all! I just recently joined. I initially went natural during pregnancy. I had one perm after my baby was four weeks old and I never went back (that was almost two years ago). Even the stylist I was having put the relaxer in my hair asked me in her Dominican acccent, "You haven't had a relaxer in over a year and you want one now? Why? You've got good curl." I did my own big chop about two months ago. I had just washed my hair and I was looking in the mirror. Seeing all those mismatched little straight ends preventing me from having the fro I'd been coveting for over a year made me go a little crazy so I just lopped them all off in my bathroom! I'm happy I did. It was liberating (and a whole lot of scary) to say the least. I am a slave no longer to the stylist chair, hot comb, flat iron, blow dryer, NOTHING! All I need is my water spritzer, a good conditioner, a detangling comb, and my shea butter mixture and all is right with the world! Later, Nappys and Nappettes!
