    Thumbs up

Has anyone ever used Body Shop mango butter, shea butter, sesame butter, etc body creams on their hair? If so, what was the result?

These products are not the pure stuff. They contain glycerine (which is fine) and a number of other ingredients. But they seem to have great absorbent qualities.

Just wondering if I can buy them for my hair - I'm looking for an easy option since the shop is quite close and there doesn't seem to be anywhere in London where you can stroll in and buy these butters.

I used both the shea butter and the coconut butter in my hair and it worked very well. Also Walmart caries the same thing as body shop and it is cheaper and works just as well.

    Charise,

I checked out the shealoe on the link you provided and it looks lovely. I'm not big on scents, so it would be okay as is. Unfortunately, I don't think it's sold here in the UK, not even online. I think I'll eventually make my own version.

    Back to body butters:
Ladies, do they leave a residue on hair? Is hair hard or greasy when it dries? Or do they leave hair soft and touchable?
