I e-mailed www.elastaqp.com about mango butter, and asked for a sample of it. They responded within 24 hours and now its on the way :thumbsup

I got my FREE samples today. They sent:

Mango Butter
Recovery Oil Moisturizer
Intense fortifying hair treatment
Scalp Stimulating shampoo
Breakage Control Serum

I got a lot more than I asked for. I'll have to try them all. The mango butter smells like a dessert.

I'm so glad to hear this. I went to a total of 5 Beauty Suppy stores today searching for the mango butter without success. I phoned the company to ask if there was a store in my are that carried it. The rep told me no, and offered me suggestions on approaching the management about carrying that particular item if they already had other products in the Elasta QP line. She also said the only other way to get it was to order it online, which was $6 plus shipping. I thought the lady was very helpful, but I'm ret-hinking that now that I know she could have easily offered me samples, knowing how desperate I was to find the mango butter. I told her I had heard such raves about it. I will send an email. Does anyone know if Kemi Oyl does the same for their Shea Butter Pomade? That's another product I can't find in Greensboro.

Sistafriend,

Before you order offline, talk to your local wal-mart about carrying it. I did this with mine and the local manager was very receptive and ordered it on trial basis.
