I saw this idea on another website and thought it was an excellent idea. Take pictures of your meal and post up the recipe, that way people can get ideas and inspirations for new dishes.
    I'll start with a few.

    Chicken wings with salad.

Chicken wings were dipped in egg and coated in southern fried breadcrumbs then grilled.

    Pesto Turkey steak and salad.

Season turkey steak with salt pepper and pesto sauce and grill.

Salad is made of bagged salad, sweet peppers, basil and cherry tomatoes. Drizzled in olive oil.

    Veggie fritatta with salad

The fritatta has potatoes, sweet pepper, leek and tomato and some fresh parsley in it. Sprinkled with some Wensleydale cheese.

How do leeks taste? Is a fritatta like a quiche without the crust?

I  leeks. They are from the onion family and are quite sweet. I've never looked at it that way, but yes I suppose a fritatta is a crustless quiche.

Yes I season the wings with salt and pepper then I dip it in a beaten egg and coat with the southern coating mix
I use this one from my travels to South Africa

Then I leave it to bake for about 40 minutes. You should brine the chicken first so they are nice and juicy. Brining is leaving it in a salt water mix for a certain amount of time.

    Todays meal.

    I'll join in:

For dinner tonight I made a crab, onion, jalapeno omelette.
I'm testing out a fruit cobbler recipe now, so depending on how that turns out, I'll post that too lol

I love these, but I suck at making them! They always come out like hockey pucks
Yours look so light, can you share your recipe/technique?

    Berry Peach Cobbler

Tasted okay, but came out way too watery. Back to the drawing board...

Hey Guapa! Those fried dumplings is what we call Fried Johnny Cake back home in the U.S. Virgin Islands! I LOVE johnny cakes!!! And I know how to make them.

Tonight for my dinner, I made a simple chicken soup and added cornmeal dumplings! Yummy! ^_^
    Here's a picture;

Nubi, for your cobbler, did you add some flour or cornstarch to the fruit mixture to help thicken it while it baked? I've made a cobbler before and the recipe called for flour to help thicken the fruit juices. It didn't come out too thick or too runny either. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, I think that was the problem. I only added about 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch, and I didn't account for the water that the frozen berries would give off
So I think next time I'll try upping the cornstarch and drain the peaches.
