Hello to my sisters and brothers,
I am loving this board!!!! Been searching for a family unit to hang out with.
I am frustrated with my hair

usually in the winter I wear wigs to help keep
my head warm, but in the summer I prefer to wear my own hair. My hair is
thin, fine, wavy and curly. I straighten the ish outta my hair with a burning chemical about twice a year, but it then looks
like a "Old Jerri-Curl"

The only way I can wear my hair is just usually pulled
up in a pony tail or afro puff whatever you want to call it. I wash it about three times
a week and just usually put some pink oil moisturizer in it and brush it through. Soo
if anyone have suggestions as to some styles I can try please let me know. Peace!!

Welcome to NP. How long have you been transitioning? There is so much info on this board from the hair care forum to products that are bad for your scalp and the benefits of natural hair. I hope you enjoy your journey to natural hair
