Itchy Scalp Shampoo

If you suffer from itchy scalp due to any number of reasons, including wearing extensions or braids, this recipe is a one way to instantly relieve the itchies and refresh your scalp. Follow up with a scalp conditioner or herbal riinse.

INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons (45ml) chamomile flowers
3 tablespoons (45ml) lavender flowers
2 tablespoons (30ml) shampoo base or castile soap
1 teaspoon (5ml) calendula tincture (you should always have some of this)
½ teaspoon (5ml) wheatgerm oil
½ teaspoon (5ml) kukui nut oil

METHOD
Cover the chamomile flowers and lavender flowers with the shampoo base, in a small bowl and leave over night.
Remove the flowers.
A bit at a time, add the tincture and wheatgerm oil.
Pour it into an airtight bottle.
Use this shampoo as you would a normal shampoo, rubbing it into the roots of your hair, and use within 1 month.
