Great for Skin Conditions!
Made from the cold pressed nut of the Kukui Tree and native to Hawaii. Rich in vitamins A and E and containing very high levels of essential fatty acids linoleic and alpha-linolenic, Kukui oil has been used for centuries as a cure for eczema and other dry or damaged skin conditions including sunburn and exposure. Kukui is an extremely heat sensitive oil with a limited shelf life and you must not use it as a hot oil treatment or in any process that involves heat after it is added to a mix or to your hair. It is best used as an ingredient in homemade creams and lotions that you intend to use within a short period of time, will add a preservative to and/or will refrigerate.
Used in soapmaking, it adds lathery softness and silkiness to any soap and adds conditioning properties for the skin. It blends beautifully with shea butter.
You can use a few drops of Kukui on areas of scalp eczema, psoriasis or inflammation anywhere on your body, including your scalp. Its benefits are instant and it is absorbed very quickly into the skin where it starts to heal from the inside.
Kukui Nut Oil is essential for anyone suffering from dry scalp conditions or eczema and should be used frequently for best results.
