Vitamin C Serums
I was never a big fan of facial serums. To me they were always sticky and made claims that were ridiculous and unbelievable. But entering my 40s, my skin started to lose its glow and did not hold moisture when I used my regular day and night creams. And dark pigmentation started to happen around my jawline that wouldn't go away. So, I started experimenting.
Face creams alone weren't going to be enough anymore!
I tried dozens of serums, ranging in price from a few bucks to over $100, with varying degree of success. I have very sensitive eyes and I can't take most serums or lotions close to my eyes. So, believe me, the two serums I am talking about here are the only ones that did exactly what they claimed they would do without irritation.
Let's dig in with the Super C first. It combines Vitamin C with marine minerals. This Super serum I use just about every morning after my toner. It is a thick, creamy serum and I use only 6 drops, forehead, cheeks, chin, neck and décolletage (upper chest) and I use it around my eyes. It caused no irritation or stinging, even on my eyelids which are sensitive. When it first goes on, it tightens so that's a bonus and around your eyes because it gives an instant lift. Used in combination with a Hyaluronic Acid Serum acid serum you can even prevent or even reverse saggy chin and jawline and smooth neck creases.
Next, the Vitamin C 20% Serum. This serum is liquid gold. It's amazing - it exfoliates effortlessly and evened out my skin tone. This serum is strong, but it does not irritate my sensitive skin, but my advice is to only use it at night. I wouldn't use this during the day because it exfoliates and it is best when your face is at rest, not when you're running around outside. Sometimes nightly and sometimes every second night. This serum faded my pigmentation within 2 days, and it was almost completely faded within 2 weeks.
The reason I know that it's the Vitamin C Serum and not the Super C Serum that fades pigmentation is because I tested it by using the Vitamin C without the Super C and the pigmentation continued to fade. When I stopped using it and used the Super C, the pigmentation did not change.
So, for any of you who are struggling with pigmentation, mature skin, dull and dry skin or sagging under chin, give these serums a try. The best thing about these serums (other than the fact that they work miracles) is that they are naturally formulated, clean and affordable.
You can find all the information you need about these serums on their website COUI SKINCARE.
My rating: A rare 5 STARS ★★★★★
