I washed my hair in twists, then retwisted where needed...what a timesaver!!
My son's hair is finally long enough to braid. Oh! Happy day, no more picking his hair out in the morning.

I start back working out this week. Let's see how these cute tiny twists hold up now.

I still surprise myself when I purposefully avoid rinsing or cowashing my hair. I used to wash n'go daily, but now it's more like every 5-7 days. This wash n'set(?) is about to go on to its fourth day and I'm sure I'll love it tomorrow .
Why is it that the Pure Clean Conditioner seems to have made my sister's hair softer than anything she's used so far? We're going back to Target to pick up the huge 25oz bottle along with a bottle of Triple Nutrition. I can't wait!Big Chop: Nov. 14, 2007

My ends are so raggedy! Time to start cutting this color out......just so I can color it again!

I know it's been only since Saturday but my hair is doing something....don't know if it is growing or getting thick. Gotta figure this natural hair out....
I am going in whatever direction my natural journey takes me....

Second twistout (this time with hair spritzed with my castor oil spritz, detangled with the TT, put into two-strand twists with aloe vera gel and coiled into Bantu knots). Second twistout FAIL. I just rinsed it and am now wearing a wide headband for the first time since before I BC'd a little over a year ago.
When I did twistouts on short hair wayyyy back in the day they looked a lot better. Part of that is because I had thicker hair (more working follicles) back then...with age has definitely come a loss of thickness.
Also maybe because I'm older I have a much better sense of what looks good on me. For the first twistout I didn't coil them and I literally looked like I had stuck my finger into a light socket. This time around...I don't know what happened but it just looked crazy...and I have several things going on this weekend that require me to look a little more polished than I normally do. The blessing is that with short natural hair I can just wash it and start over...Hello, 2021. Glad to see you. Hope you're bringing us goodness and light this year!
