Welcome to NP. I hope you're looking forward to learning more about taking the best care of natural hair possible. In this community, a focus against altering and otherwise damaging hair texture via straightening is sustained so that we can concentrate our technical and social support for those of us who do not desire to alter or otherwise damage our textures.
If you're still intent on treating curly and/or coily textures in that manner, there's an overabundance of online resources for that. Intentionally so, this isn't one of those places. When and if you have interest in focusing on what can be accomplished without such alterations, at the very least, you know this rich resource is available to you.
The integrity of this community's focus is maintained by a team of users and administration. In that, you will not find a gamely audience here should you seek to debate or subvert that particular stance (not allowing and/or promoting the merits and/or techniques of altering and/or damaging hair via straightening to be advocated here). Thanks for posting and do know that I look forward to you continuing to make the most of this online resource, with respect for what this community is for and about.

Hi, welcome to NP. We don't condone talk about about straightening hair here so you won't get help with that. What we can help you with is stretching your kinks out using non destructive ways: the most common being to do roller sets (the bigger the roller the more stretched your hair will be, to do large braids or twists (that could depend on how long your hair is). With either of these methods, you will stretch your hair out as much as possible while setting it. It's usually done on wet but you can get some results with dry hair as well, you end up with a temporary looser texture. All of these can be done without the use of hair driers. HTH.

Co-signing the above posts and adding that if stretching is your goal, then in addition to the methods mentioned by Karibana, banding and threading may also help you with minimizing shrinkage (which is unavoidable with our hair) and showing some length.
Here is a link to some good info and vids on methods for no-heat stretching of napptural hair: 3 Ways to Stretch Natural Hair without Heat

It's been a while since we've seen one of these posts! No, we don't condone straightening hair here. There are plenty of outside resources about it though! Feel free to peruse the archives as well: HEAT DAMAGE GRAVEYARD.
